Lent, Day 16.

10:15: Well, there goes Nutrition. Why didn't my alarm go off? Why do I feel so completely awful? I jump out of bed and run to the bathroom because I feel some nose-stuff about to drop on my pillow... sick. My lip hurts, what the hell? I look in the mirror and find it's black and blue. Harry bit my lip a couple times but not hard... what in God's name? Oh perfect, a little hickey to go along with it. I look like I beat myself up, and coincidentally feel like it too. I decide I am going to also skip Photography and spend that time eating, resting, and showering. I have to do SOMETHING today, and photography class is just not going to be that something.

12:00: I am showered and feeling tons better, so I leave and go to school to get some homework out of the way of this weekend. I am fully prepared to sit in the library until 8PM working on my field production project of Sailor Cher.

12:12: Of course, there's a class in the classroom I want. Fucking Helena Sarkio, you might remember her from my Current Events blog. I hate her and her long scary braid-whip that resides on her head. Oh well, I can work on my Nutrition and Advertising on a PC until it lets out.

12:22: I have to work on a PSA for my Advertising Writing class, choosing a topic from adcouncil.org. I choose "High School Drop Out Prevention," because at my brother's rate who knows if he's apart of that statistic. 7,000 kids drop out every day! That's one in three kids not graduating. I must have grown up in a particularly ambitious town, because that doesn't seem accurate to me. Anyway, the US Armed Forces started Boostup.org, which just promotes "giving a boost" to those who don't seem motivated. I create a 30-second TV ad and wonder what I'm going to do my campaign project on. I think I'm going to stick with Bud Select 55, because it does have some problems being accepted by the general alcohol consumer public, and I'd like to work on its image.

1:10: I COULD do my selected project for Nutrition, but considering it's really fucking hard/tedious, and it's "selected," meaning "optional," I'm clearly just going to not do it. I already am doing fine in the class. I don't need extra points.

1:20: I'm hungry, so I decide to go get some food before starting on Sailor Cher. I find Bo and JP on the bench, so I sit with them awhile. Bo has a tennis racket and I have my iPod in, so I start strumming. To rap. Doesn't really fit, but a couple people complimented me on my musical skills. College is funny. Bo is turning 21 on Saturday, so looks like I'll be going to his house for a kegger - sounds fun! They were my closest friends when I started college, then we just drifted apart because they lived on the island and I was a freshman in the dorms with no car. I love them all to death though, so I'm really excited about seeing everyone.

1:25: Bonus walks by and says he wants chips, so I go to the student center with him to get food. There's so much shit in there we get overwhelmed and end up getting pita with hummus, him an apple juice (or "AJ" as he calls it), me a Mocha Frap in a bottle and a thing of peanut M&Ms. I'm on my period, back off.

1:29: We go to the West Lawn and enjoy the sunshine. It's not particularly warm out but it's hard not to enjoy a random picnic in the beautiful sunlight with a friend you rarely see, you know? Lili walks past me into the library saying she's about to go work on the Sailor Cher project, too. I tell her I'll meet her in there.

1:50: Bonus has to go to class, so he leaves, but I see Jessica walking back to the dorms. I stop her and compliment her on her outfit. We somehow get on the topic of her taking some classes this summer, and inquires staying in my room if she pays my portion of the rent. Clearly that is more than okay, considering the less money my parents have to spend, the happier they will be. She said she'll talk to her parents and Alix about it, and get back to me. Bomb!

1:58: I find Lili in the back corner of the computer lab, with her roommate/suite-mate Felicia. Felicia is loudly talking on the phone about some fancy study abroad trip, so I put my iPod in. Of course I don't want to be doing this, so I procrastinate a little by cleaning up my flash drive, playing Words with Friends, checking the weather, blah blah blah.

2:09: Lili is complaining loudly about Final Cut. If she's having trouble, I probably will, too, so I decide to actually start.

2:15: Lili says she has to leave and go to class, but will be back around 4:15. As soon as she leaves it only takes me about 45 minutes to do the entire thing. All I need to do now is find a cool music bed, burn it to a DVD and make the storyboard to accompany it. Cakeeee, bosssss! Also a show.

3:10: I ride my bike to the bank to deposit Paige's electric check and get money out for tonight. I have been spending so much money on going out, it's nuts. It's not even like I drink every time I go out, I've just been going places with cover charges. I can't wait to go home and workkkk; income is comforting.

3:30: I walk Jim's photography syllabus and his glass pan back to his house. It's been sitting on the stove for a while and it's not bothering me but he's too lazy to come get it and no one in the house is going to ever take it over there, so I just decide to get it out of the way. I knock on the door before opening it and saying "Hello?" I hear Jim's music but no one answers, so I just go put the papers on their coffee table and put the pan on the kitchen counter and leave. He probably legitimately didn't hear me, but if I can sneak in and out of there without bothering him, that's probably best.

4:00: I settle down on the porch with a book and a CD. I am determined to read all of Christopher Moore's books this year, so I am currently on Practical Demon Keeping. It's pretty funny, but there's a lot going on so it's sort of hard to keep up with all of the characters' individual lives. I'm sure they'll all start tying together a little better towards the middle/end of the book... hopefully.

6:30: James comes over to upload the pictures from his birthday to Facebook, considering I can't do it and he's been dying to seem them. They are pretty fucking funny, to be honest. I reheat some old pasta and eat "dinner" while he laughs through the pictures. Why am I never hungry for dinner? I want to shove food down my throat so I don't get hammered tonight, but I am legitimately full after four forkfuls of angel-hair spaghetti.

7:00: James leaves so I settle back down on the porch and keep reading my book.

7:30: I have a lot of time to kill, so I'm going to go finish my Crest White Strips once and for all. I only have two sets left, and you can do them back to back, and I'm going out tonight, so why not?

7:35: They feel pretty slimy, but as long as I'm not trying to talk or drink or anything, they're pretty unnoticeable.

8:02: On go the second set. My teeth are going to be fluorescent by the time I'm done with them. I get my laundry out of the dryer and put my bed back together. I am a very tidy person but I have a bad habit of not being clean. Example - everything is ALWAYS in its place, but I only wash my sheets maybe three times a semester (unless needed, if you know what I mean), and I dust/vacuum maybe once every two months. I really need to work on that, it's sort of gross.

8:32: Second set comes off and I could smile for days with these babies! Good work, Crest. Totally worth the $15. Seriously not a bad deal considering you get like 28 sets (2 weeks worth).

9:00: It's sort of chilly out so I fold up the blanket and turn the music off on the porch and put my book back on the shelf. I then notice the living room is sort of disheveled, so I put it back together. This leads to me putting together the dining room, and the front room, and unloading the dishwasher, and cleaning the counter... it's seriously just like a domino effect. I can't help it. Oh well, it really doesn't have a bad effect on anyone. Everything's just clean all the time. Although I have a habit of putting dishes in the dishwasher before people are done with them... but that's not the end of the world.

9:20: I decide I'm not going to get all fancied up, because it's cold and I just want to be comfortable. All I'm going to do to get ready is re-straighten my hair, reapply my foundation and change from these ratty sweatpants and Uggs into leggings and Uggs. I don't care if people don't think they're pants - they're not see-through, and I'm not 200 pounds, so it's no worse than if I wore really tight jeans. And they're the only thing I can wear with Uggs because I have the "cankle" curse of the Hines family, which makes it very fucking difficult to shove all the extra material from my jeans (because I'm also short, of course) into Uggs or boots or the like. Leggings are the only option, and it's cold, and I want to wear my Uggs, so everyone else can shut it.

10:20: Kim finally arrives and we go back to her place so she can change and put some make-up on. She had been helping Matt with his homework, so I don't mind. He's an academic probation for the second semester in a row, so he really needs to do well.

11:03: We get there and people are mumbling about the ATF (Alcohol Task Force, I think) being there. The bouncer says, "Sorry ladies, we're being pretty strict about IDs tonight because the ATF is out, so if I could see your IDs please..." I hand him my wallet with the piece of photoshopped paper shoved in it and he looks at it, looks at me, and says "Have fun, darling!" and ushers me in. Yeah, really laying down the law, boys.

11:10: Vodka sprite, thank you very much. Definitely still biker week. The one thing I like better about Tuesday nights here is that there's way more light. I don't really get it but they turn all the lights off inside on Thursdays... I can understand it being that way on the dance side, but... whatever, it works for them I guess.

12:14: Generally normal night, hanging out with Kim, Greg, Tim and Harry in the gazebo upstairs. Tim all of a sudden leaves.

12:30: Found Tim! Grinding on Teresa on the dance floor haha he was seriously getting DOWN. Like, his knees may or may not have been touching the ground. Tim is fucking hilarious.

12:45: Kim goes home and Harry and I decide to go outside for a bit to cool off. It's also really funny to watch the entrance because it's pretty entertaining most of the time. Sure enough, some guy comes flying out the front door and is immediately body slammed to the ground by a couple bouncers and put into a chokehold. He was probably starting shit with someone in the bar.

12:59: The guy is literally still struggling against the bouncers! They're SITTING on him! Just fucking give up you prick!

1:03: Told you you should have given up, now you're in handcuffs. Way to go. It just sucks that I never saw his face! I was really curious.

1:20: Some ugly blonde bitch runs up to the bouncers with blood running down her face complaining that someone punched her. If a guy hits a girl, that's not cool, but she must have been doing something really fucking bothersome. I don't want to say she deserved it, per say, but I think she probably had it coming. Her friends are freaking out too. The bouncers don't give a shit, it's not their problem, they didn't see anything happen.

1:35: The bitches are still freaking out, trying to insult them but failing. This fat brunette goes "YEAH. YEAH JUST STAY HERE AND LIVE YOUR LIFE IN ST. AUGUSTINE! YOU FUCKING FUCKHEADS!" Is she really trying to imply that living in St. Augustine is a bad thing? It's a bomb ass place with a college, a beach, and a bunch of bars. She can go fuck herself.

1:40: Ryan, bless his heart, drove JP, Tim, Harry and I back. I decided to just sleep at Harry's because... well, I don't know. He's cute and stuff.

2:40: SUCH a good kisser; can't standdddd it.
